Tanya’s extensive financial services experience has spanned asset management and middle market mergers and acquisitions on both the buy-side and the sell-side. Throughout her career, she has specialized in identifying and transacting strong investment and M&A opportunities for all kinds of clients, including high net worth individuals, family offices, private equity groups, and other institutional and corporate investors. At Allegiance, she brings her expertise to middle market business owners to identify the best sale opportunities for them and bring those transactions to a successful close.
Tanya has spent the majority of her career in North American business, but she also has a strong background in global transactions, having worked on over 30 cross-border transactions in South America, Western and Eastern Europe, Japan, South Korea, and India.
Prior to joining Allegiance, Tanya was the Managing Director of Focus Acquisition Partners, a buy-side M&A advisory firm representing more than $50 billion in committed capital, where she was instrumental in opening the New York and “Sunbelt” markets for the firm and successfully closed several transactions in the oilfield services and agribusiness sectors.
Tanya also spent time at Merrill Lynch, where she established a corporate and individual asset management advisory business within Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group, advising family offices, executives, high net worth individuals, private equity groups, and business owners on financing, investment, and M&A opportunities.
Tanya began her career in the entertainment industry, providing financial services to famous musicians, entertainers, and professional athletes.
Tanya was a full tennis scholarship recipient from Georgia State University and graduated with a B.A. in Marketing and Minor in Mathematics. Tanya is a FINRA Registered Representative with Series 79 & 63. She is also a recognized member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (Grammy Awards); ACG NY Board of Directors (2012-2015); Member at Large WOL ACG NY, Women’s Executive Committee Member of the UJA Federation of NY; Chairperson for the ACG NY Digital Media and Technology Conference (2011-2013); Judging Committee Member for the M&A Awards NY Champion’s Awards Gala (2011-2012); M&A Advisor International Award (2011-2012); the 2012 M&A Advisor 40 under 40; 2012 ACG NY Delegation Member to ACG Euro Tour.
