Pamela's training as a certified public accountant accredited in business
valuation provides her with a thorough understanding of what makes companies
valuable to prospective buyers. She assisted with the purchase and sale of
multiple companies, participating in all aspects of these transactions
including marketing, due diligence and negotiations.
In her 20 years as a financial professional, Pamela has worked with clients in
a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, distribution,
financial services and real estate. These have included family-owned companies
and women-owned businesses. During her career, Pamela also has guided
distressed companies through recapitalization and restructuring, both in and
out of bankruptcy. She has helped managers and owners understand and maximize
the value of intellectual property and other intangible assets.
Pamela was formerly the chief financial officer of a specialty finance company
and vice president of corporate planning for a major banking institution. She
serves on the board of the Women's Finance Exchange and the Turnaround
Management Association. In addition, Pamela serves on the finance committee of
the Dallas Women's Foundation and is a fund-raiser for several not-for-profit
organizations.
Pamela earned a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Houston. She is a certified public accountant and a chartered financial analyst. |
