Connie Mahmood

Over the past 15 years Connie Mahmood has built a substantial network while focusing on business development and marketing in the M&A space. Her ability to communicate effectively with professionals at high levels has enabled her to continually connect the right people. She is a resource to many in this marketplace and is a leader at the local and global levels in key M&A organizations.

Ms. Mahmood has worked across a wide variety of industries including high technology, software development, marketing and specialty advertising. At Allegiance Capital her marketing activities are focused on new business and client development via professional organizations, community and business activities.

She currently serves as a director at large on the global board of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), which has more than 12,000 members. Ms. Mahmood is a past president of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of ACG and currently serves as a member of the past president’s council advisory board in Dallas. She is also a former board member of the Turnaround Management Association in Dallas and is a founding board member of the Women’s Finance Exchange, where she held the position of president for two years. Most recently she was recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as one of Dallas’ Women to Watch.

Ms. Mahmood launched her career as an executive assistant for companies such as Control Data Corporation, GE Medical Systems and Peer Services, Inc. In 1991 she joined Barclays Business Credit, which was acquired by Fleet Financial Group and ultimately became one of the largest U.S. commercial finance companies. As part of Fleet Capital’s southwest loan origination team, she was responsible for advising the financial community and middle-market companies on Fleet Capital’s credit capabilities, including secured and cash-flow lending.

Connie is a graduate of City University in Seattle, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration.
