Amy Cockerham is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in the hi–tech industry. She has gained her expertise in running operations in two large public companies and honing her skills of small business in start–up companies. Amy has actively led three public offering efforts, many private and public capital raises, various corporate integration projects, and numerous liquidity events. She is a founding partner of both Geode Partners, Inc. and RiverRock Holdings, Inc. Her strengths lie in understanding technology companies from conception of an idea to a liquidity event, while developing built-to-last structure for sound results. Amy’s experience in technology reaches from software, hardware, IT services, and telecommunications into the vast industries into which they sell.

Amy received her Bachelor of Science from the Colorado Women’s College and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business. She belongs to various professional societies and organizations, is a past Dallas County Chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas, currently serving on its Executive Board, serves on the advisory boards for the Tennenbaum Institute at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Dallas, Board of Distinguished Advisors for the School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University and the Professional Women’s Council of Ursuline Academy of Dallas.

Amy is active on panel discussions relative to various emerging company issues and on a frequent basis judges various scholarship and foundation efforts awarding youth entrepreneurs across America. Amy also directs, provides and organizes various scholarship funds for higher education in the United States and is a guest instructor in entrepreneurship and fund raising at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas.
