Fred D. McCallister

While Vice President and General Counsel for Liberty Sports, the predecessor to Fox Sport Networks, Fred was an integral part of a growth strategy which included launching five new sports leagues and making strategic acquisitions. Fred was promoted to Vice President of Sports League Operations and in this capacity was responsible for the financial and operational management of the newly formed sports leagues.

As Vice President and General Counsel of the publicly held new media development company, Eagle River Interactive, Fred was responsible for all legal matters and also was involved in driving high organic growth and growth by acquisition. While at Eagle River, Fred was key to the acquisition of six domestic and one international company. In preparation for an acquisition by Omnicom Group, Fred lead the divestiture of certain assets and the legal process leading up to the Omnicom acquisition.

As Vice President of a privately held electrical engineering, manufacturing and service firm in the machine to machine communications space, Fred was directly responsible for driving 300% year to year growth for 3 years. Fred created brand identity and a national marketing presence for a new product that placed the product in the top two of the brands in the space.

Fred has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law.
